I have never felt I needed to leave a company review until today, I am sharing my full experience working with Duct Works from start to finish. You can make your own educated opinion but I figured this was needed for some. The Previous owner had 2 brand new air handlers and condensers installed by Duct Works in 2019. I purchased the house in 2020 under the impression I should be good to go with these units for a while, they are brand new. 2021 I had duck works come out install thermostats in my home, Pat, the tech was by himself and couldn’t run the wires through the walls without me going in the attic and helping him, he installed 3 thermostats. After the job was done, I paid in full no problem, I get it. A week goes by and we wake up ice cold in the house, I called duck works, they come out, “oh the thermostat was wired wrong, sorry about that but we will have to charge for a service fee,” strike 1 for me. I say ok no problem and paid. I change the filters myself every 4-6 months, clean and clear the traps and do a light inspection simultaneously on the units, I’m a licensed E2 electrician so I know a good amount. Fast forward to 2023, turn on the A/C for the first time, little must in the house, I swap a new filter smell goes away. 2024 season same thing, must smell, swap the filter goes away, mid-season the second floor stops cooling. Duct Work comes out; Pat is his name. Completely destroys the filter pulling it out, I asked if he had grabbed all the small pieces out of the unit he said yes. Looks over the air handler, without testing a single thing, turns to me says, you need a new coil, you’re looking at roughly 2k for the work. Frustrated I say, ok, he writes me a quote and leaves. I open the unit myself and pull-out chucks of my filter out of my air handler fan. Strike 2. I call the office at this point mad. Ben the owner’s son, very nice guy says I am terribly sorry I want to make this right; I will come out look at what’s going on at no charge, I say great thank you. He diagnoses that it was just low on freon, charges the unit from outside. He gives it a good while after to make sure it’s not losing pressure. It holds pressure for a while so he doesn’t expect a leak. Great. Ben says no charge I just want to make it right seeing you have had such a hard time with us. I now have a new outlook on Duct works. 2025 start of season must smell, change the filter make sure the drain line is clear, smell goes away. August 19th, 2025, I am in my basement working, for no reason at all, I decided to give into my curiosity and open the air handler just to see if there’s anything more than the smell of a filter. To my surprise there is mold growth on the coils. Called my good HVAC friend Dave, asked why this happens, answer is because although you have a drip pan, water is supposed to drain out, if it stagnate mold will grow. So, I made sure the line was clear which it was, checked the leveling screws to be in the right position which they are, so why is the pan not draining. I put a level on the A frame coil itself; the pan is improperly pitch. Now I have 3 kids living in my house. This is not safe for them, so I need to take care of this right away. I call Duct works looking to speak to Ben, who no longer works there. I get Dennis and try to explain to him this was not properly pitch at installation and only 6 years old, this shouldn’t be happening and plenty of rust to go with it. It’s a slight fix and a cleaning they should come out and do it because the install was incorrect. Running around in Circles with this guy as preventative maintenance would have fixed these issues he says, (wrong). Ok well fine I’ll pay for the work, cut me some slack on the price I said, he waived the diagnostics fee. Ok fine, come out and do the work, quoted 1200. No problem. Then tells me I have to pay up front for the work, strike 3.You have never done 1 thing right, what makes you think that’s appropriate. I do not recommend these people to anyone. If you want a shitty job, by all means hire Duct Works.

Wonderful experience. Another local company told me to replace the whole AC unit ($15,500) Ductworks explained it was a common repair. Less than $900. Thank god I got another opinion. Fair, honest, and pleasant crew. They’ve earned my future business. Everything working great.

Our central air failed just as we got home from vacation. Our local air conditioner company could not even attempt to provide use with a new system for more than a week. We called Ductwork’s and they sent a salesman out the same day. He offered many options, we picked a two stage system and it was installed within ten days - the installers were terrific and did a great job. We love the system.

What an amazing experience. I called Ductworks during a heatwave in a panic and they got me on the schedule promptly to do an estimate for a repair as I was concerned about a different quote I had gotten. The woman who did my intake was so kind and helpful, and really helped me. James our technician was lovely. He explained everything thoroughly, was super polite and even took the time to educate me and my husband on what we needed to do to ensure our HVAC was running properly. Prices are right on point for what they service and if I want I can enroll in a plan which would reduce service call pricing. As we have an older HVAC unit I am sure we will be calling again in the future for our repairs and maintenance .

Great company! Zack, Uriel and Fernando came out today to replace our central air conditioning. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely thorough! They worked quickly and made sure to update me on their progress. When the install was complete, Zack went through the entire system with me, explained maintenance necessities, etc. The sales rep Deven was also fantastic, he explained our options very well and was great at communicating, responding to all of our inquiries quickly. We signed the contract and the install team was here a week later to do the work! Would definitely recommend!

All of the Ductworks employees maintain a very high standard for customer service. Ductworks is the only HVAC service that we would recommend. A special thanks to Dennis Keane. If you are looking for new heating or air conditioning or need service....you might want to consider Eric at Ductworks. We got 3 quotes on replacing our air conditioner when it finally showed signs of leakage and not maintaining cool air flow in 2019. Our old unit limped along for about 16 yrs. Ductworks was the most affordable of 3 quotes, that didnt sacrifice quality and service. Before our official install date in August, they serviced the old air unit in May at no charge and fixed a burned out compressor in the heat of July to help us limp along to our replacement date comfortably during our rolling heat waves in 2019. When they replaced our unit, they were efficient, clean, helpful and courteous. I highly recommend them. Amazing attention to detail. I have already recommended them to a neighbor who also just got her unit replaced by them a few weeks after ours.
